Hashi centers on three women of different ages. Momo is a bento delivery girl who sends lunches to two colleagues in an office. Each time she visits them, she entertains them by giving accounts of her dreams. Their lives cross and diverge in oblique and tangential ways. As the story weaves around issues of love, relationships, insecurity, death and the blurring between dreams and reality, such sets of feelings and the many contradictions they imply coagulate on screen to form a touching realism.
