With several films produced in 2007, Adolfo Alix Jr. is not only one of the most prolific young Filipino directors of the moment, but one of the most outstanding, and has been invited to take part in various international festivals. His debut movie, Donsol, was selected to represent his country at the Oscars after winning prizes at Fort Lauderdale, in Japan and in the Philippines.
